When I was little...

Sometimes I'm easily amused. I should be writing, but I'm reading on Twitter #whenIwaslittleI... There are some really funny and evil answers. Some are both. Here's some I found: #wheniwaslittle I put pizza slices n he gutter down to the sewer 4 the ninja turtles #wheniwaslittle my big sis told me santa claus got hit by an airplane thats why i would see mommy and daddy wrapping our presents @ night =( #wheniwaslittle I thought I was Mary Poppins and jumped off my garage with an open umbrella #wheniwaslittle I convinced my sister that Jaws lived in the bathtub drain and the toilet. Guess who got in trouble? BIG trouble. #thisgirl I saw a lot more good ones but they scrolled away from me too quickly to capture them. What weird stuff did I do when I was little? I believed my girlfriend L when she swore she was a witch and she'd put a hex on us if we crossed her. (I was 4 or 5 and she was 6). I scratched up a Beatles album because she told me they were evil, thought they were better than God. I played with Ouija boards and always asked it who I would marry. Damn thing wasn't right! I was in love with Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees. L was in love with Davy Jones. I wanted to be an astronaut and/or a journalist. I was in love with Mr. Spock and I wanted to live in space. (A few years after I got over Mickey.) I wrote about flying Spinxes. I guess I wasn't that weird, not compared to a lot of the things I just read on Twitter. I never jumped off anything high thinking I was Mary Poppins or a Gargoyle. L pushed our neighbors cousin off my second floor porch, though, when she was about 6. She was pretty evil whether or not she was magical. I'm still mad at myself for scarring that Beatles album. Surprisingly, all but one song on that side still played even though it looks like shit. What did you do when you were little that was weird? You'll also want to see what Amarinda Jones, Anika Hamilton, Anny Cook, Barbara Huffert, Brynn Paulin, Bronwyn Green, Dakota Rebel, Kelly Kirch, Molly Daniels, Sandra Cox, Regina Carlysle, and Cindy Spencer Pape are up to, so make sure to visit them also. :)

As the only blonde, blue-eyed child in a family full of brown eyes and hair, I believed my sis when she informed me I was adopted, and ran crying to my mom, who informed me that no, it wasn't true:)

Fast-forward 20 years, when my blood type kept coming back A neg instead of A pos (been told all my life I was pos!). I called Mom and jokingly told her W had been right all those years...I had been switched at birth! Mom did some digging and discovered Dad really didn't know his blood type, after all...and NO, I was definitely NOT switched at birth:) (I knew that, but still it was fun to hear her reaction!)

I did 'get even' with my sis by convincing her the Boogie Man lived in her closet...to this day, she still can't sleep without the door to any closet being open!

LOL I'd heard somewhere about worms making silk, so I decided to "surprise" my mom. I took her brand new satin comforter off the bed and hid it in my closet, then went out to the backyard, dug up some worms and tossed them in on top of it, closed the door and left them to do their work.

I was so sure she'd be excited when she saw how much bigger her blanket was when the worms were done .... strangely, it didn't work out quite how I planned. *G*

Great topic, Ashley!
