Coming Soon - "Her Men"

Here ye, here ye!

I received fabulous cover art for my August 2014 release at Totally Bound. Isn't it lovely?

I was unable to add the picture to this post however it's on the sidebar. I don't know what's wrong with my blogger - or perhaps it's a "Code 18" situation (the error sits 18 inches away from the screen). I don't think so, but it's possible as I used to be able to insert pictures and everybody else is still posting photos to their blogs. Uhm...

Anyway, I'm so excited I'm ready to go and write another 5,000 words on my WIP so I can hurry up and get another wonderful cover.

Here's a snippet about "Her Men", set in one of my favorite cities on Earth, Biloxi Mississippi.

"It takes a hot ménage or two for Julie to decide which man she truly loves."

Forty-four year old Julie Weston has loved Timmy and James since her college days twenty something years ago. She's fantasized about both all these long years, never able to choose between them.

Hoping Tim and James will attend, she attends their college marching band reunion. When both men show up her dreams are answered. They're sexier than she imagined and she hopes they won't be disappointed by her older self.

It turns out both men came just to see her again and neither is happy about the other’s presence. They fight over her, confusing her more than ever. It takes a hot ménage…or two…for her heart to decide which one she’s in love with.

I'm so excited about this story, I can't wait for this summer for it to release. I hope you'll enjoy it too.

Business or Pleasure

Guy Rogers is extremely attracted to his new realtor, Tom Beaudreaux. As a passionate vegetarian and animal activist, he’s ecstatic that Tom is a kindred soul. He could never be with a carnivore. Unfortunately, Tommy isn’t really a vegetarian or animal activist. He never said he was either, he just didn’t eat meat when he was with Guy. And maybe he emptied his house of all meat and dairy products before inviting Guy over. In fact, Tommy’s family owns the most popular barbecue restaurant in town and if his family has their way, he’ll manage the new location.

When Guy finds out that Tommy eats meat and his family owns a restaurant that is a monument to eating meat, he’s livid and doesn’t know if he wants anything else to do with Tommy.

But then Guy’s life gets crazy –his dad’s paranoia blossoms into violent dementia, he gets arrested for picketing a doggy mill, and then he winds up in even more legal trouble. When Tommy sticks by him through all his trouble and does everything he can to help him, Guy wonders if he’s been too militant and narrow-minded. Perhaps he can learn to live with people who have opposite views.

Fierce competitors, they cook up a storm in a series of cooking challenges all the while trying to turn down the heat on their intense attraction. When a hurricane strikes the island, the storm Rique has been cooking up, explodes and no heart or body are safe.

I LOVE My New Cover

I'm in love ~ with my new cover.

Okay, I really really really really like it.

I listened to a sermon this morning about love. We tend to use the word "love" when we don't really mean it. When we like (a lot) a pair of hot shoes, an awesome book, a lovely cover, a new I Pad, when we're really in lust...

Love should be reserved for that special, uncomparable feeling between two special people (or as menage authors and readers would argue - three or more people).

Love can also be felt for family, friends, and pets.

My husband would argue that he loves softball and I would argue that he loves it more than he loves me.

My ex-fiance once chastised me when I said I "loved" something (I don't remember what now except that it was some inanimate object).  I had to admit I agreed with him. This morning's sermon reminded me. And then I received my lovely new cover tonight and again I thought "I love it!"

In case you're wondering about the hero's and heroine's dress, this is a time-travel romance back to the late 1970s, one of my favorite times. It was a lot of fun to write and to reminisce.

Available at Total-E-Bound.com

When Captain Ty Gibson comes home from a tour of duty in Iraq to marry Bianca, their sometimes third lover Brendan stirs up a mess of trouble.

Captain Ty Gibson has made up his mind. He loves Bianca and he's going to marry her. But when he comes home from his tour of duty in Iraq, their sometimes third lover Brendan fights for Ty. Although Bianca once enjoyed their occasional ménages, she's ready to settle down with just one man and wants that one man to settle down with just her.

Brendan's troublemaking jeopardises everything in Ty's life – his future with Bianca and his military career.

Reader Advisory: This book is best read in sequence. It is the sequel to “The Perfect Gift”. It also stands alone. Although this story is about two men and a woman, it does not have a ménage scene in the story.
