Which superhero are you? I was just tagged by Spiderman. Well, really, I was tagged by CrazyCath, now aka, Spiderman. :) So I played. I'm usually game. This is moi: Green Lantern
|Hot-headed. You have strong will power and a good imagination.|
Each Green Lantern possesses a power ring that gives the user great control over the physical world as long as the wielder has sufficient willpower and strength to wield it.
While the ring of the Golden Age Green Lantern (Alan Scott) was magically powered, the rings worn by all subsequent Lanterns were technological creations of the Guardians of the Universe, who granted such rings to worthy candidates. These individuals made up the intergalactic police force known as the Green Lantern Corps. After World War II, when sales of superhero comic books generally declined, DC ceased publishing new adventures of the Alan Scott Green Lantern. At the beginning of the Silver Age of Comic Books, DC editor Julius Schwartz had writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane revive the Green Lantern character, this time as test pilot Hal Jordan, who became a founding member of the Justice League of America. In the early 1970s..." Still, no bells. Why couldn't I be Catwoman? I love cats. I've been scratched enough by cats that I have to be part cat by now. Or why not Superman? I'm absolutely in love with Clark Kent. Well, I guess I don't want to be him, if I want him... That would be kinda tough. Anyway, thanks Cath for tagging me. And today's victims, um taggees, are: Molly's Musings - Molly DJ Kirkby's blog - exquisite dreams - DJ Kirby It Had Better Be Good - Yvonne Miss Sniz's Writing Blog - Sniz Bronwyn's Blog - Bronwyn To play, take the test at: http://www.thesuperheroquiz.com/ Let's change channels... I did a telephone author interview tonight with Kaz Augustin all the way from Singapore. We used a nifty program called "Skype" at www.skype.com. I had to buy a headset/microphone and we heard each other with amazing clarity. And it was free! All half hour plus of our conversation. PROMO ALERT: Please come and listen to my live interview on Kaz's podcast at: http://radiofreebliss.KSaugustin.com It will be up by late night March 8th EST or March 9th Kaz time (Singapore). Let me know what you think. I love Kaz's accent, btw. Very nice. Did I yell and shout how much I love the internet? And technology? Isn't today's technology fascinating? I remember when I used to watch the Jetsons and wonder if we'd ever have television type phones (in my lifetime) where we'd see other when we talked or flying cars like mini spaceships. I'm still waiting on the flying cars, but we have web cams, not that mine's hooked up. I think if I hooked it up I'd always worry first if the house behind me was spotless, that the kids were behaving perfectly, that the hubby wasn't walking around in just his underwear, that the male dogs weren't getting it on with one another, and that my hair and make-up was always perfect. Maybe if I get one of those room-dividing screens to block out the site of the rest of the house it would work... Still, I'd have to check my hair and make-up. Guess I'm too vain. I really need to hook up the web cam so I can talk to my dad in Ohio and see him while I talk. Note to self: Hook up web cam and get Dad to do same. Then use it. Does anyone here use a web cam much?
