I'm like Hannah Montana

I'm like Hannah Montana. Well, I'm not a size 4 and I don't wear a long, blonde wig. I'm also a lot older and Billy Ray isn't my dad. Um...I can't sing, either. At least not as well although my kids tell me I'm the best singer in my immediately family - not saying that counts for much. You don't want to hear anyone else in my family sing, trust me. But Ashley Ladd is my alter ego, my famous face that lets me hide my real self and lead a "normal" life. Like Hannah, if people at work, church, and maybe my kids' schools found out who Ashley Ladd really is, there could be unsavory consequences. It's not that I'm hiding it with as much fervor as Hannah Montana/Miley. But I'm not as famous, either. The movie was a lot of fun, except for all the teeny boppers crowding the theater as we tried to escape after. That makes me glad I'm not as famous. I get claustrophobic in crowds like that. Back to the movie, her dad is soooooo cute. I'd take one of him in my Easter basket any day. At work the other day the ladies at the lunch table said he started off as a male stripper. Um... This I have to google. Hold on a sec - be right back after I surf the web. Okay - either it's a well hidden fact, no one cares anymore, or more likely, the ladies at my lunch table have been listening to bad gossip. I found nothing to say Billy Ray ever stripped. Either way, he sure is hot. I'll have to base a hero on him. I like cowboys and I love Tennessee and Kentucky and that part of the world. You'll also want to see what Amarinda Jones, Anika Hamilton, Anny Cook, Barbara Huffert, Brynn Paulin, Bronwyn Green, Dakota Rebel, Kelly Kirch, Molly Daniels, Sandra Cox, Regina Carlysle, and Cindy Spencer Pape are up to, so make sure to visit them also. :)

I have his first album, and love 'She's Not Crying Anymore' better than Achy Breaky:)

And laugh whenever 'Where'm I Gonna Live When I Get Home?' comes on!

Daughter used to to like Hannah, but now she's 'outgrown' her, and laughs whenever I end up watching the show or singing along to the radio. She and I used to be able to belt out 'Best of Both Worlds' a few years back, on Radio Disney:) But now she's more into Fall-Out Boy and My Chemical Romance.

I never got on the achy breaky bandwagon, but he did have a couple decent songs. Didn't he sing It Could've Been Me? That was a good one.

Thankfully my son isn't into HM, but all the girls in his class sure are.

Have a great Easter Ashley!

hugs,

Wendi

Yeah - I like 'It could have been me' and that he ditched the mullet.
