I Need To Play The Lottery

I need to play the lottery. My daughter and her friends won $100 Memorial Day Weekend from a scratch-off lottery ticket. There were five in the group so they each took $20 went out to dinner, then had icecream, and had a wonderful time. My co-worker left after lunch today because she won more than $5,000 in the Florida Lottery. She was going to collect it and put it in the bank. I never play. I forgot to play when I worked the Lotto machine when I worked for Hess several years ago. My friend JE had to tell me to get a lotto card when the pot got high. I've always considered it gambling and didn't want to throw away my money. But I'm having second thoughts. Maybe a dollar a week wouldn't hurt and I might win. I would sure love it. I'll have to think about it. Everyone from my office was headed to Publix to get their Powerball tickets for tonight's drawing. Maybe I should, too. You'll also want to see what Amarinda Jones, Anika Hamilton, Anny Cook, Barbara Huffert, Brynn Paulin, Bronwyn Green, Dakota Rebel, Kelly Kirch, Molly Daniels, Sandra Cox, Regina Carlysle, and Cindy Spencer Pape are up to, so make sure to visit them also. :)

I play lotto - and what most people don't tell you is the amount of money the waste to win the small amounts. If you are prepared to do that then go for it. I don't have to tell you Ashley that there are no easy fixes in life

The hubby plays and doesn't do too bad, although by the time he recoups his losses it more of a break even thing.:)

The most we've ever won was $50. And we have a joke that whenever we remember to play (and we only spend maybe $5-10 at the most between Hoosier Lotto and PB), it means someone else will win the big pot!

All I want is about $100,000 or so...I'm not greedy:)

Heh. Played for years. Never won a dollar. If I'd put all those dollars in a savings account I'd have them plus some.

I haven't played the lottery except for Powerball that one night. I figure, too, I'll waste more money than win. Otherwise, how do gambling places stay in business?
