Down with Asthma

I'm down with asthma this week. I've been having trouble breathing for the past couple weeks. The past few days I started coughing. Yesterday it became really bad so I went to the doctor. I thought I had bronchitis or an upper respiratory infection. Asthma didn't occur to me. But that's what the doctor diagnosed and treated me for. I took a breathing treatment and was put on two medications. Then I went back to work - for an hour. I still felt poorly so I went home and slept the rest of the day. I went to work today, however, as I felt somewhat better this morning. As the day went on, I began to cough a lot again, and I had trouble breathing. Not as bad as yesterday but still not good. I arranged with my boss to stay home tomorrow so I can take a long weekend to rest. I stopped and bought enough groceries to last so I won't have to leave the house. The daughter who gets cabin fever is staying with her friends. The other kids are homebodies. Hopefully, I'll be better soon.
