Caution: Men At Work

LOL I shouldn't laugh. I really shoulden't. I know several men that work very hard and don't complain a bit: my dad, DS#1, and my day job boss. I've known others. Unfortunately, DH is one of those men who wants public recognition all the time when he does a little piece of work that's out of his normal zone. Like this week, he took DD#2 to school twice in the am because I've been ill and staying home from work. I've been doing this every day for years. But it's a big deal when he does this - like it doesn't make me get up earlier? Like I don't have to spend $ on extra gas? Like I don't get frustrated by the long line of traffic? Like it never makes me late for work? DH seems to think there's a different set of rules for him than for everybody else. Don't you just love people like that? Unfortunately, I've met others who suffer from this delusion. A lot of people thought Captain Kirk thought way too much of himself. I actually thought he was pretty awesome, even if my crush was on Mr. Spock, and not Kirk. So, as Denny Crane in "Boston Legal" nowadays, is William Shatner acting as himself as some people say, or is he poking fun of himself? Or is it really just the way the character's written? Either way, Denny is absolutely hilarious and sooooo very cute. But he and Kirk do some to kinda sort fit into the category of people who have a different set of rules for themself, or at least think they do. You'll also want to see what Amarinda Jones, Anika Hamilton, Anny Cook, Barbara Huffert, Brynn Paulin, Bronwyn Green, Dakota Rebel, Kelly Kirch, Molly Daniels, Sandra Cox, Regina Carlysle, and Cindy Spencer Pape are up to, so make sure to visit them also. :)
