Romance Knows No Age - Fall Into Love Blog Hop Day 3 #HopswithHeart

Romance is for everybody, not merely the young, the slender, or the beautiful. Believe me, love still pulses strong in my fifty-something heart and I thrive on romance. I think of little else even though some might say I'm in the Autumn (or Fall) of my life.

Julie, the heroine in 'Her Men' is a 44 year old divorcee who is now a size fourteen. That's six sizes larger than the last time the men of her dreams saw her. She's nervous about what they will think of her, if they will still find her attractive. As such, she shuns bikinis in favor of a one-piece swimsuit with a skirt.

Luckily, she has nothing to worry about. Her men find her voluptuous and very desirable and can't keep their eyes-or their hands-off her.

Title: Her Men

Publisher: Totally Bound

Genre: Contemporary Erotic male-female-male romance

Book Length: 22,000 words

Forty-four year old Julie Weston has loved Timmy and James since her college days twenty something years ago. She's fantasized about both all these long years, never able to choose between them.
Hoping Tim and James will attend, she attends their college marching band reunion. When both men show up her dreams are answered. They're sexier than she imagined and she hopes they won't be disappointed by her older self.

It turns out both men came just to see her again and neither is happy about the other’s presence. They fight over her, confusing her more than ever. It takes a hot ménage…or two…for her heart to decide which one she’s in love with.

“Shut up, thoughts. Leave me alone!” She pressed her fingertips to her temples, hard, wishing that would alleviate her misery.

She was supposed to be happy here with both her men. That’s if James ever spoke to her again.

After soaking in the tub for half an hour, she dressed in the simple black evening dress she’d brought for this opening dinner. She blow-dried her newly highlighted hair then applied makeup, careful to draw the eyeliner on in a straight line. It was hard as her hands were unsteady with anticipation.

She had a date with Tim. He wanted to see her again. He wasn’t put off by her weight. At a size fourteen, she was six sizes larger than she’d been the last time he’d seen her.

Could she be as lucky as Connie and Eric and get a second chance at love? Isn’t that why she’d come? So why was she letting anything get in the way? That wasn’t her MO.

Have you ever felt star-crossed? Not really. But I do love the concept of this story. She isn't a kid, 44, not skinny, a size 14. OMG, thank you for making her a REAL WOMAN!!! And then 2 men! woo hoo! even hotter! Would love to read this story.

This sounds like a great book. I don't think I've ever really felt star-crossed. pjmillion (at) comcast (dot) net
