Obama - What is all this about him being the anti Christ?

I got an email the other day stating that Obama meets the qualifications of the anti Christ. I'll admit, I'm not political in the least. However, I did like one candidate this year - Mitt Romney - and now he's out. But what is all the hoopla about Obama being the anti Christ? I don't care that he's black, and I don't care that Hillary is a woman. I didn't hold it against Romney that he's LDS - actually, I liked that very much, but if I wasn't already biased in that direction, I wouldn't hold that against him like many people did. (That can be another whole post). In short, I just want the best person to be our president and to me, gender, religion, and race don't matter. Did anyone read the Left Behind series besides me? It's an excellent story and it really made me think. On one hand, I want to say all this anti Christ stuff is nonsense, but then again... Here's a hopping blog about this subject: http://seanskti.wordpress.com/2006/10/25/barack-obama-is-not-the-antichrist/ All right, the more I read, the more I shake my head. One person is predicting the end of the world as we know it in 2012. I remember hearing that 1975 would be the end of the world. Then every few years, another date would be set. Those dates would come and go. And yet... We know it will come and there are prophecies. What I need to do is to study my Bible, get back to church, and be more informed. On the more informed line, I need to get more political and honestly get to know the candidates. I can't believe I'm posting this as I really am the least political person in the world. On another subject, I recently added "Cluster Maps" to my blog. See it top left. It's turning out to be a nifty little gadget and quite fun. It tells me where my visitors are coming from. There's two in Australia (probably Amarinda and Eric), one out in the South Pacific, a couple around Indonesia, one in South America, a few in Europe, particularly in Britain, and a lot in the US. What really stands out, however, is that there's a HUGE dot over the Michigan-Ohio area. Um...I wonder who that could be??? :)

I protest! My dot on the cluster map is 2000km south of Cooktown. All the way down there in Brisbane, and they're a bunch of effete city people down there.

Hi Ashley-
I'm not very "political" either, so I'm going to ignore that part of your post. I'm one of the dots over the Michigan/Ohio area on your Cluster Map.:-)
I just wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment!
I really enjoyed your "Where I'm From" poem-it gave me just a hint of who you are, but also made me curious to know more about you.:-)
Thanks again for the comments and I hope you have a great weekend!

Barack Obama as the anti-Christ? Hadn't heard that one.

Talk about grabbing at straws...

Thanks for popping in at my place. Please come again.

I would like to see Hillary win because she's a woman - simple as that.

All the Obama rumors are crazy. I'm constantly sending people to snopes.com about the chain emails so maybe they'll stop sending them without checking facts.

I got that email, too. I *do* like keeping up with politics, though. I'm a Hillary supporter, and a die-hard yellow dog democrat, but I don't like Obama (and isn't cause he is the anti-Christ!) ha ha

The radical religious right needs to be stopped anyway.
